These guidelines are generally for all students who are eligible to learn from any international curriculum from the USA. Lastly, remember that since our Brainfood Academy is a private institution, our guidelines are not as strict. Also, if you choose to disenroll from the Academy at any point, we’ll provide you with all the necessary records and requirements to enroll in any public school in the U.S.
Your Guide To Learning with Brainfood Academy: Vaccines and Immunization for Schools
As you might know, most private schools, like public schools, require students to have updated vaccination and immunization records.”However, as an online facility, we do not have this requirement. Although we are a private school with flexible attendance options, any student who disenrolls from our academy must provide updated vaccination and immunization records.

Is Kindergarten Mandatory? Kindergarten is FREE!! – Your Guide To Learning with Brainfood Academy
- The current government regulations state that kindergarten is NOT a required class. However, each state has the option to establish its regulations on this issue. Education reform, working parents, and other financial situations mandate that every state offer a kindergarten class within each school district.
- So, Is Kindergarten Required? The short answer is No. Although all public school systems must offer kindergarten, children are not required to attend. However, Compulsory attendance applies to children between the ages of five or six and seven to sixteen only, if they are enrolled in a public school.
- Lastly, Due to varying state regulations, some states have opted to mandate Kindergarten as a prerequisite for completing school and achieving academic success. Below, you’ll find a list of states where Kindergarten is compulsory. In states where it is not obligatory, children who do not attend Kindergarten will need to undergo a test to demonstrate their academic level before beginning First Grade.
